Bex is a singer of considerable repute with a fearless and strident style that is both entertaining and skillfully imaginative. She is a fearless vocalist of phenomenal ability and expertise and posses an impressive voacal range. She can move seamlessly from big and powerful to soft and subtle and can shape shift through jazz, Latin and pop repertoire with ease. She specialises in singing in Brazilian Portuguese and is also an accomplished percussionist.
Bex' career as a jazz vocalist has seen her perform with some of Britain's leading jazz musicians including performances at the 100 Club in London and many great jazz festivals across the UK.
She works regularly with many fantastic musicians including legendary Cheltenham guitar virtuoso Paul Newman, as ukulele and acoustic guitar jazz duo Short & Sweet, and internationally renowned jazz pianist Alex Steele.
Bex has also ventured out on her own recently armed with just her ukulele performing her fabulous one woman show; 100 Years of Popular Song. A stunning trip from 1910 to the present day which has been rapturously received by audiences wherever she goes.
From time to time Bex also appears with various bands as special guest, most notably with exciting jazz quartet Dom Franks' StrayHorn.
